Zugleich weisen alle Arbeiten sehr individuelle ästhetische Handschriften auf, die verschiedenen internationalen Einflüssen zu verdanken sind. Die Ergebnisse der jungen Künstlerinnen und Künstler sind somit echt europäisch. Wir werden in den vier Tagen von »Fast Forward« erleben können, wie selbstverständlich grenzenlos die darstellenden Künste Europas agieren. The sixth edition of the »Fast Forward« festival once again casts a large net across all of Europe, one that reaches from Norway to Turkey and from the Netherlands to Georgia. All the works of the young directors take on subjects and questions that have relevance far beyond the incidental locations of creation. At the same time, all works exhibit very individual aesthetic signatures, owing to various international influences. The productions of the young artists are in this way truly European. In the four days of »Fast Forward« we will be able to experience how the performing arts of Europe operate, observing no borders as a matter of course. This pleases me especially at a time in which Europe as a union of joint action is questioned by some forces, be it through »Brexit« or the closure of borders. ALLES THEATER!
