In many different places but we finished it between France, Spain and the USA. Dascha: The songs on Paradigmes are so different from each other; there are so many styles and themes. Where did you get your ideas and inspirations from? Sacha Got: From everything, I would say. For the music we like to cross all the styles we love and they can be very different. From country to electro, arabic music or rap. We like to mix everything together. Sacha Got: There is no concept. But at the end we found a concept with the videos and we are even working on a full movie that is gonna come out with the record. Dascha: Which mood or feeling would you like to get a person in by listening to Paradigmes? Sacha Got: We like to go deep. And let the listeners have some big feelings inside their bodies. It can be happiness, sadness, nostalgia or hope or anything else. But we like to feel. Dascha: Why do you decide to sing in other languages than French sometimes? Like on Foreigner or Le jardin. Could you explain what the song is about? Sacha Got: It is about a guy going on the road and leaving his hometown, New Orleans. He went to a dark moment and he lost his mom. But now he wants to go back to the light and shine and leave all the negativity behind him. Dascha: I really enjoyed your latest music videos, especially the one for Disconnexion and the Paradigmes: Introduction with the Michel Foucault impression. Can you help me to understand the music video? The guy is doing a smoky speech and then going through his mind. Dascha: Speaking of Disconnexion ; there are so many different music genres mixed up in one song. One might think that they would never fit together but somehow you still make it work in an incredibly nice way.
